11th August 2025 – A courtesy call was made to Puan Siti Nur’ain Abdullah, Director of the Department of Industrial Development & Research-DIDR, by the top management of SAIP Sdn. Bhd., represented by Tuan Annef Osyairi Osman, General Manager; and Puan Mariyam Gambur, Deputy General Manager.
The meeting was productive and meaningful, with both parties engaging in discussions on potential collaboration. One of the key outcomes was a shared interest in exploring the establishment of SAIP as a centre for retort packaging, aimed at supporting start-up entrepreneurs in packaging their products using this technology.
Both SAIP and DIDR agreed to further deliberate on the initiative, with the goal of enhancing value-added services for local SMEs and fostering innovation in food and product packaging.
